Instructions:

Prepare the Burger Baked Potatoes:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, toss potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread the wedges evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and crispy. Set aside when done.

Make the Cabbage Yogurt Sauce:

  • Combine the shredded cabbage, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir well until the cabbage is coated in the yogurt mixture. Add dried dill if desired for extra flavor. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Prepare the Burger Beef Patties:

  • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Mix well and form the meat into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and browned on the outside. Set aside to rest.

Prepare the Garlic Yogurt Sauce:

  • Mix together the plain yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assemble the Burger:

  • Slice the wholegrain buns in half and toast them lightly, if desired.
  • Spread a generous amount of cabbage yogurt sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Place the cooked beef patty on top, followed by a slice of tomato, yellow bell pepper rings, red onion slices, and a handful of arugula.
  • Optionally, drizzle with a bit of ketchup and top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the Meal:

  • Serve the healthy burger alongside the baked potato wedges.
  • Drizzle the garlic yogurt sauce over the potatoes or serve on the side for dipping.

Serving Tip 💡:

Pair this burger with a light salad or your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor. The garlic yogurt sauce is also great for dipping the burger. You can also try swapping the beef patty for a vegetarian option like a black bean or veggie patty.
